{Beauty} Get Haley Bennett’s Met Look

I’m so on a MET Gala kick… and everyone is still talking… C’mon Rihanna and Kendell Jenner. I also absolutely adored singer and songwriter Haley Bennett’s look.  The intricate flowers on top of her head and porcelain skin.

Inspired by the Comme des Garcon theme of the 2017 Met Gala, celebrity makeup artist Alice Lane transformed actress Haley Bennett into a porcelain maven. For Lane, skin prep is paramount and with the help of Kat Burki, all of her makeup dreams can come true.

My sources tell me that days leading up to the gala, Bennett religiously applied the Kat Burki PH+ Enzyme Essence, Compete B Illume Brightening Serum, Vitamin C Intensive Face Cream, Rose Hip Revitalizing Serum, FORM CONTROL Marine Collagen Gel, KB5 Recovery Eye Mask and Complete B Eye Crème Complex to prepare and prime skin. Lane notes that Bennett’s flawless complexion allowed for the makeup to become an accessory.

In order to achieve the alabaster skin tone the day of the Met Gala, Lane prepped Bennett’s skin with the Kat Burki Vitamin C Face Cream, which surges the skin with moisture. Next, Lane applied the Kat BurkiPower Trio Radiance Oil, which she recommends letting sit and seep into the skin. Once the oil is absorbed, Lane applied makeup for a soft, pearlescent look.

Lane relies on the Kat Burki collection to ensure client’s skin is at its healthiest. Since first using Kat Burki, Lane notes that “[it] is not cakey, allowing it to be a perfect base for makeup. Kat Burki makes all of my dreams come true.” She insists that skincare is the key to any look. It sets the stage for the makeup.
